woven musical pavilion

a new stage is being installed in the baroque garden of schloss weißenbrunn, a new location for open air performances, especially for classical music. the shell-shaped pavilion will allow to held concerts and events in the summer of 2021 with the expected restrictions due to covid-19. in the future, this will enable new cultural and touristic impulses in the hassberg mountains.  the structure is built of curved round tubes, matt white lacquered, which create a changing rhomboidal grid. the pavilion is positioned on the central axis of the garden and constitutes the focal point, complementing it and becoming a de facto sculpture in the green space. the shell not only creates a new visual background in the garden, but is also able to spread the sound in a strong and homogeneous way to the audience.
