with baukraft architektur and patrick überbacher architekt

the project forsees the renovation and extension of the state school of women professions designed by the architect othmar barth in 1970. new cantilevered volumes are added to the existing, also following its materiality. black coloured surfaces, some opaque and some shiny, contrast existing concrete. internal courtyard becomes the new focal point of the project. the aim is to further emphasize the building´s image enhancing and expanding it with its new proportions.
